We will be arriving on Thursday, October 3rd. The only planned event is a welcome dinner at Jake's On The Lake in nearby Tahoe City.
PlumpJack
PlumpJack has a a number of activities. There's an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs, a bocce ball court, and bikes to check out.
Hikes
Chickadee Ridge
See where the proposal went down! Also, there are great views of Lake Tahoe any time of day. Plus, in October, there won't be snow, making it much easier to get to than when Chris made Katelyn cross-country ski there. The hike follows the Tahoe Rim Trail from Mt. Rose Meadows for an incline up to the ridge.
Shirley Canyon
From PlumpJack or the base of Squaw, head up Shirley Canyon for waterfalls, granite, and views of the valley.
Sugar Pine Point State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park is nearby along the west side of Lake Tahoe. There are hiking trails, boat rentals, a beach, and park facilities.
